HISTORY

  • Our corporation was founded in Lima, in August 1969, by Mr. Oswaldo Sandoval, whose objective was to provide the best local and international moving service in Peru.
  • After several years of operation during which we consolidated our service quality, we began an activity diversification process and developed the storage lines, storage terminal and physical distribution. Likewise, we became a leader in the moving industry market.
  • In 1998, as a strategic decision, the moving company was sold to Mr. Mario Martínez, who was the Department Manager for more than 22 years.
  • In 1999, we created the Relocation division whose Mission is to provide foreign families moving to the country with specialized support, and help them in their process of installation and adjustment to Peruvian customs.
  • In November 2001, we decided to change our corporate name to its current name SECURITY INTERNATIONAL MOVING S.A.C. – SIM, which has the same experienced personnel, vehicles, specialized equipment and international representations as always.
  • Our corporation has 45 years in the moving industry, time during which we have been packing small and valuable artworks to big and heavy industrial machinery. Our operations are performed by highly experienced and qualified personnel, which have allowed us to be the U.S. Embassy contractors for nearly 30 years.
